Our guest today is Rita Knott – originally from Germany, arrived in Luxembourg 1979, so 42 years ago. Rita is very famous in Luxembourg as a director of two non-profit initiatives: “Female Board Pool” for more women in the boards and LES PREMIERES LUXEMBOURG’ for women entrepreneurs. Rita is also running her company “Rita Knott – Coaching.Mentoring.Consulting” here in Luxembourg, an international coaching company in Berlin, and a number of other initiatives.
As this is a Christmas show – I must tell you Rita’s Story is a real Christmas or even Fairytale story. Rita wanted to become a stewardess and came to Luxembourg to practice her French and English and to bridge 12 month, because Lufthansa was not hiring that year. So she started to work as a receptionist and as she left the corporate world 26 years later she was number 2 in an international bank.
